LAVORO exhibited for the 12th consecutive time at A + A - the world’s most important Fair of the personal protective equipment (PPE) sector - where it presented several novelties: new types of products, a podiatry and biomechanics lab and new designs , which alerted the attention from visitors and the media.
SPODOS is the first center of studies of podiatry and biomechanics to be created within a safety footwear company. Created in cooperation with AMI | Hospital Privado de Guimarães, it is the result of the constant investment on the "healthy shoes" segment. The new types of products allow both a greater identification of the consumer with the footwear they shall use, whether an expansion of the offer to new fields of activity, as a result of segmentation and constant improvement.
The new model GLAMOUR combines a fashionable design with comfort and safety, strengthening Lavoro’s range of specially developed professional footwear for ladies.
The new model Lavoro CUP, inspired by the aesthetics of traditional football boots (cleats), pays homage to the recent success of Portuguese football.
The 2011 edition of A + A received over 60,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries.
